Why you shouldn’t use cribs from (most) hotels! Why you shouldn’t use cribs from (most) hotels! 🫣 #1. You don’t know when the last time they were cleaned/sanitized. Believe us, we’ve seen a lot of the “behind closed doors” of where hotels store their items — mattresses + sheets on the ground, items stored by harsh chemicals, gear dusty + dirty, and outdated unsafe items. #2. When a hotel says they have a “crib” available, it will typically be a mini crib size (about the size of a Pack ‘n Play). If this works for your little one, great! But if you have an older baby/toddler that is used to sleeping in a full size crib at home, this could be a potential issue. #3. Typically baby items from hotels are on a first come, first serve basis. Meaning you may show up from a long day of travel and there may be no more cribs available… talk about a nightmare!
