Rental Partners are independent contractors that service their local areas. You would fulfill reservations placed on rents4baby.com with your own inventory of like-new baby gear that would match to the items we have listed on our website. You would be the point of contact for the client + provide excellent communication. You would deliver the baby gear, set it up for the client (if applicable), + pick up the gear at the end of the client’s rental term. You would also be responsible for cleaning + safety checking gear before every rental, + storing your gear in a clean space.

No, our platform is unique in the way that we have a client forward approach. We select the items that are available for rent rather than Rental Partners. Clients select the gear they would like to rent based off of what is offered on the rents-4-baby website. Rental Partners provide those client selected items to fulfill orders placed.

We have years of research on the top baby gear brands as well as taken direct requests from our clients as to what they are looking for. The items we have listed on our website are in demand from our clientele.

New Rental Partners do not need to start out with all of the items listed on our website but rather can invest and add items to their inventory as they start to receive reservations for those items in their area. We do require all Rental Partners to invest in a Full Size Portable Crib to start. The Full Size Portable Crib is our #1 rented item. It fits in many cars, and all vans and SUVs as it folds lengthwise for transport. Check our Full Size Crib listing for measurements.

Yes! Our clientele is brand specific. Additionally, if you were a client booking an item online, you would expect for the item you receive to match the exact item and model.

There is no platform fee to join!

You choose! Rental Partners select their delivery pricing and how far of a radius they would like to deliver. You can select a radius anywhere from 0 – 20 miles from your home zip code to 0 – 50 miles from your home zip code.

“Delivery” includes set up of the rental gear + pick up of the gear at the end of the rental term.

Rental Partners tend to make more with rents-4-baby per order versus other platforms because of the luxury-minded client that we serve.

Rental Partners earn 75% of net order revenue from the reservations they fulfill. Net order revenue generally includes eligible gear rental, delivery, and cleaning fees after a 4% payment-processing deduction. Platform service fees are excluded. We also offer a referral program through which Rental Partners can earn an additional 5% referral commission on qualifying reservations they generate.

The rents-4-baby average order value is $250.

When a reservation is available in your service area, Rents4Baby may contact you to confirm availability and fulfillment. You may accept or decline based on your inventory and schedule. Once assigned, you are responsible for timely customer communication, delivery, setup where applicable, pickup, cleaning, and safety inspection.

Reservations are typically placed 2-3 weeks in advance although we do have Rush Orders that are placed. Rush Delivery Orders are any reservation placed within 24 hours of the start date/time. Rush Orders have an additional Rush Fee for the additional effort required to prepare them and it will be reflected in your payout.

Clients are liable for any missing/damaged gear. We will process the retail value for any missing/damaged items and Rental Partners receive the full amount to replace those items.
