how is my gear delivered?
All of our rental gear is hand delivered by local Rental Partners in the locations we serve.
What delivery includes:
“Delivery” prices include: (Delivery, setup*, and end of rental pickup). *Note that we are not able to install car seats due to liability but manuals are always included.
how do i know if you deliver to my destination?
Enter your destination 5 digit ZIP CODE to the Where We Serve section on our main page or in our Quote Calculator.
how to get a delivery quote?
Please use our Quote Calculator to enter the delivery zip code for a delivery price. Add an item to the Cart and the Quote Calculator will automatically pop up. Enter the delivery zip code and select Save Destination. You will see the delivery fee in the Pop Up Cart. When you are ready you can select checkout. *Please contact us (info@rents4baby.com or on our website chat line) if you have any questions on if we deliver to a specific location* Refer to our Self Pick Up + Drop Off Page for self pick up locations available.
where can i have my items delivered to?
We can deliver to homes, Airbnbs, VRBOs, hotels, and airports!
do I have to be present for delivery?
No, you do not need to be present for delivery with the exception of airport delivery. Please note that you are held liable for rental gear once it has been delivered if you are present or not and until the rental gear has been picked up if you are present or not.
airport deliveries
We can deliver directly to you at the airport when you arrive– perfect for car seats, strollers, Doonas, etc. We deliver to any airports with the locations we serve. Our local Rental Partner will collaborate with you on the best meeting spot at the airport and meet you there within 15-30 minutes of your selected START time on your reservation. Normally the best place to meet is at a car rental company, if you are renting a car, as this seems to be the easiest spot to deliver your items quickly to you and even load into your rental car if it is ready.
What START time should you select for an airport delivery? Usually about 45 minutes – 1 hour after your plane arrival time. It usually takes about this long to de-plane, gather your luggage, and acquire your rental car from the rental car company. Our local Rental Partner can also adjust your time based on their knowledge and expertise of their local airport.
To make the delivery process as smooth as possible, we recommend adding your flight itinerary and car rental reservation information to the Itinerary section of your Reservation. For example: Southwest flight arriving to SFO on 4/6 @ 9:20 am; Enterprise pick up @ 10am; United flight departing SFO on 4/10 @ 1:45pm. This helps our local Rental Partner to arrive at the appropriate time.
same day and rush orders
For reservations placed 48 hours or less in advance to your rental start date are subject to a rush fee in addition to the standard delivery rate for your area. Reservations placed less than 48 hours in advance to your Reservation start date/time are subject to a rush order fee of $85 for “delivery” and $45 for “self pickup”. If applicable, this rush fee will be added manually to your Reservation after it is placed and availability is confirmed by the local Rental Partner receiving the order *Please note orders are subject to availability.
what hours do you provide deliveries?
We deliver from 8am – 8pm. All times selected are the START of a 2 hour delivery window — the earliest delivery slot is 8-10am and the latest delivery slot is 6-8pm.
after hours delivery
We can normally accommodate a delivery after or before normal delivery hours if needed. There is an additional $45 After Hours fee for deliveries/pick ups before 8am or after 8pm.
If you would like delivery after hours, please request in the Delivery Notes section at checkout. If we can accommodate, the $45 After Hours fee will be added manually to your Reservation. You will then be emailed an updated Reservation receipt.
delivery + pick up times
To ensure that we give the best possible service as our items are hand delivered, we have a 2 hour delivery window and a 2 hour pick up window. At checkout, select the time you would like the 2 hour window to START. For example, if you select your delivery time as 3pm you are selecting the delivery window of between 3-5pm on your rental Start date. Same for pick up — if you select your pick up time as 8am you are selecting the pick up window of between 8-10 am on your rental End date.
can my delivery address + pick up address be different?
Yes, if they are within the same city/region. We have Rental Partners that serve each local region, so if the delivery address and pick up address are both in the same region/city (normally within 15 miles), this is not a problem. To note a different pick up address on your Reservation, add the pick up address to the Delivery Notes section. Chat with us on our website chat line or email us with inquiries.
What if I am changing accommodations mid trip?
This is not a problem! We can accommodate moving your rental items from one address to another in the middle of your trip. There is a transfer fee — $45 or half of the delivery fee pricing whichever is greater. Please make a note of this request at checkout.
can i get an eta text?
Yes! we can send a text when we are en route so you know when to expect us within the 2 hour delivery or pick up window. Just select “Yes I would like an ETA Text” at checkout.
