what is a rental partner?
As a Rental Partner, you would be an independent contractor + you would fulfill reservations placed on rents4baby.com. You would own your own inventory of like-new baby gear that would match to the items we have listed on our website. You would be the point of contact for the client + deliver the baby gear, set it up for them (if applicable), + pick up the gear at the end of the client’s rental term. You would also be responsible for cleaning + safety checking gear before every rental, + storing your gear in a clean space.

We do require all Rental Partners to invest in a Full Size Portable Crib to start. The Full Size Portable Crib is our #1 rented item. It fits in many cars, and all vans and SUVs as it folds lengthwise for transport.

Most Rental Partners find that in order to have a thriving business, they need to add additional inventory to fulfill the demand. Most of our items on our website are priced for an ROI at 13-15 rental days. We are looking for Rental Partners who want to grow their business and most likely this will require a growth of inventory to keep up with demand.
do items need to be the same brands?
Yes! Our clientele is brand specific and as a client if you are booking an item online, you would expect for the item you receive to match.
what start up costs are there?
There is no platform fee to join!
where do i deliver?
It’s up to you! Normally Rental Partners deliver within a 35 mile radius, give or take, of their home zip code but delivery distance + fees are for you to decide. We work with you to set the delivery pricing. “Delivery” includes set up of the rental gear + pick up of the gear at the end of the rental term.
how much can i earn?
Rental Partners tend to make more with rents-4-baby per order versus other platforms because of the luxury-minded client that we serve. Rental Partners earn 75% of the net reservation order (includes gear fee + cleaning fee (20% of the gear total) + delivery fee) and we also have a referral program where Rental Partners can earn an extra 5%.
when do i get paid?
Payouts for reservations are processed the day the reservation starts (day you deliver the gear) via direct deposit so you don’t have to hassle with funds debited from your account for any refunded reservations.

How does self pick up/drop off work?
By selecting Self Pick Up you are opting out of delivery and instead choosing to pick up your rental items yourself from a designated Self Pick Up/Drop Off location. You are also required to drop off your rental items at the end of your rental term to the same Self Pick Up/Drop Off location.
Same Day + Rush Self Pick Up Orders:
Self-pickup reservations have no rush fee, including same-day bookings. Delivery reservations placed less than 24 hours before the rental start date/time are subject to a $45 rush fee. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by the local Rental Partner.
Are all items available for self pick up/drop off?
No, Full Size Portable Cribs are not available for self pick up due to the size restrictions. Additionally, in some locations the Smart Bassinet is not available for self pick up due to the fragile nature. Our team will notify you if the Smart Bassinet is not available for self pick up from the self pick up location you choose or if you select a Full Size Portable Crib for self pick up and you will have the option to update your order to delivery or cancel and refund your order.
How do I Choose Self Pick Up?
Add the items you are looking to rent to the Cart. The Quote Calculator will automatically pop up. Select the “No Delivery/ I will pick up” on the Quote calculator. Select your rental dates in the Pop Up Cart the select Checkout. In the checkout field Self Pick Up Location please select the Self Pick Up and Drop Off Location you are choosing from the drop down menu.
After a reservation is made, our local Rental Partner will reach out to you about your reservation details and also provide the exact self pick-up and drop off address.

You can select a self pick up/drop off time Monday thru Sunday between 8am and 8pm.
